my acer swift 3 sf314-41 keeps making random crackling noise. this issue keeps happening for like 4 months ago and i dont found any fix for this issue.

the crackling noise will gone if i changed some speaker setting from control panel, but the crackling noise will occurred after an hour or if restarted my laptop. soo changing the speaker setting not fix anything. i already reinstalling the audio driver, changing the power plan, even clean installing my laptop. last thing i tried is updating the driver to v1.02 to v1.10 and still crackling. before the crackling happened example: i playing game the game will start stuttering and back to the normal. its like there an app or driver that using so many resource. the crackling will happened too when using earphone or headphone or other audio interface.

plss help me i really tired of this issue😭

note: i installing generic amd driver (driver from oficial amd website) and not using driver from acer. should i switch??

I do see that you have tried the best possible steps to fix. But make sure is the sound coming from speaker or from the fan.

After doing the steps you still have issue than it could be a hardware issue.

Try to contact Acer support and send it for repair.

anyone having crackling audio problems with acer swift laptop realtek audio. here is how i solved mine. i was getting random crackling of audio that was driving me mad. i eventually tried to do a factory reset which failed. i then downloaded windows 10 pro latest version from windows to a usb drive. i reinstalled windows then downloaded drivers (except audio i let windows install that driver) and relevent apps from acer. laptop is now working perfectly. the license for windows is installed in the bios so the new copy is legal. good luck. tope.

Note that the license isn't the same between Home and Pro versions of Windows. Since almost all Swift ship with Windows Home, you are likely best off to install Home so you don't have to purchase the upgrade in order to get it activated.

I can solve your problem, the crackling noise is related to power plan & amd high definition audio if you update your driver from amd site, go to acer support page and check that you have the exact same driver version, reinstall the original driver and clean the system using Rapr.
