Preditor Helios PH315-53-71HNLaptop will not charge and will turn off while plugged in

This week my laptop started just randomly turning off without warning. I have read through quite a few other posts and tried the solutions posted (e.g., battery drain, bios update, driver update, driver removal and update, new power cord, different room using the power cord) and none of them seem to work. Here are a few more pieces of information. Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated:

• - My computer will work for 1-5 minutes once turned on then turn off after it appears to no longer recognize that it is plugged in.
• - There does not appear to be any consistent cause or exact reason to why it will all of a sudden not recognize that it is plugged in. Sometimes it seems like it is working then i'll turn on a game (Destiny 2, Final Fantasy XIV) and it will then shut down after failing to recognize the charger.
• - While plugged in and recognized, the battery will not charge.
• - When i run a battery report from the command screen or a check through the acer software it recognizes the battery and seems to think its still fine
• - Even if I take out the battery, the same scenario occurs when it is plugged in
• - With the new power cord i just bought the same thing happens as with the one I got when I bought the pc 18 months ago

Take your laptop to a technician as you have issues within the power circuitries that are overheating within its primary power mosats after the DC port is overheating and shorting out and/or an associated capacitor is doing the same and turning your laptop off. Your laptop needs to be analyzed and its circuitry's faults pinpointed to where the power problems are, as a user like you after doing all that you have done, will not be able to fix these issues.
