Hi. I have been reading some headset related issues with acer5..and it seems that I also have the same issue. I bought my acer laptop last august..everything seems fine except if I am using the headset for online video or audio calls. my headsets would work fine in my other laptop..but with acer5, i am having issues with all the headset/mic that I tried using ...I tried the headset with 3.5mm jack, i would get the static-y sound the during online calls..i tried a headset that uses usb port but i would be getting an audio delay..again, both headsets are working fine using my other laptop..when i am just watching videos online, it seems that the sound is working perfectly fine..but for online calls like zoom, google meet, skype or other platforms, that's when I am having the issue..any help on how to fix this is much appreciated. Thanks

    1) give us the precise computer model

    2) update your audio driver using this method (use 22h2 as search term to get 6.0.9445.1 driver from MUC).

    3) static can happen when there is a bitrate mismatch somewhere (one part of computer doing 16 bit 41000 khz and another part of computer doing 24 bit 48000 khz). So go through your computer to see if there is a mismatch somewhere.

    4) static can also happen if you are closed to other electrical equipments (fluorescent lights or wifi routers) or electrical outlets. It's a laptop, so unplugged it and moved it to a different place to see if the static lessens.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing this information. I'm not really tech savvy but I'll try to do the 2nd suggestion. As for the precise computer model, below is the device specification:

Some technicians said that it might be because of some issues about windows 11 but they also don't know how to fix it.

I hope you would be able to help me with this, thanks.
