Hi,

I am having problems getting this monitor to stick with the correct 4k60 resolutionover USB-C in DP-ALT mode. The monitor reports a max resolution of 1440p until I disable usb 3.0 (Which isn't a problem). As soon as USB3.0 is turned off, the monitor will then correctly operate at 4k60. However, if the monitor is turned off at any point, it will only display at a maximum of 1440p until USB 3.0 is turned back on, then off again.

Has anyone experienced the same issue, or is this a problem with my specific monitor? It's further exhaserbated by the fact that the USB ports seem to supply power to my keyboard and mouse when in standby, even with "Power-off USB Charge" switched off. As a consequence, I have no choice but to power off the monitor at night, rather than leaving it in standby.

Just to note that the monitor is running the latest firmware and drivers are up to date.

The proper sequence for most Acer monitors is to turn the monitor on first. Wait a few seconds. Then turn the PC on. If you turn the monitor off, then you should also turn the PC off to be ready for the next proper on sequence.

Standby or sleep mode almost always means wake by mouse mouse movement or keyboard key stroke. If neither the mouse nor keyboard are powered in standby mode, wake won't happen.
