The GPU driver can not cause network issues , its most likley unconnected.

What issue are you having? Also please keep in mind this is a community forum! We will reply but its when we can be around :)

im having issues connecting to the internet only after i update my nvidea grphics drivers . I kinda know its not the reason but i have tried many times uninstallling and installing same issue is happening

is it because im not using the vga driver that acer provided may anything with laptop customizations or something

Nope, nothing to do with the graphics driver! They are totally differnt bits of the computer and the drivers dont interact . I would update the grpahics driver and then when the network dosnt work we try to troubleshoot that

next time it fails, could you try in a command line

    ping 8.8.8.8

    ping google.com

This will check first if you can send a ping, and second if DNS works. To troubleshoot networking we start at the bottom and work up

    No.

    Graphics drivers won't effect networking

ok but @JackE told not to update if not facing issues and use only generic drivers for laptop

The generic drivers is more an Intel / and thing from years ago, and has mostly been resolved an all but the most niche laptops

And the issues would be in graphics, performance, switching, power use etc, not in networking

Nvidia drivers have no impact on networking

Start with the pings, although given its a school network it may not work

College IT support should be the first port of call!

But does it resolve google to an address? Given its a controled network ping cant really show us anything as we dont know if it should work

If DNS is working, it suggests that the issue is with the network, have you raised it with the IT dep?

no think the issue was i setted my college wifi as private network in wifi settings

i think now its working properly with my latest graphics drivers
