My Acer Nitro 5 Laptop battery keep draining down whenever I play video games it seems like it stop draining when reach 30% but the game will lag so much and run at 15-20FPS at that stage. I have to use MSI Afterburner to lower the power limit to 55% just to extend the battery life which lasts around 2 hours reaching the 30% stage. Is this the AC Adapter faulty or my laptop battery worn out already and how do I fix it?

Its normal for it to drain the battery while plugged in, but it shouldnt drain really fast. Does the adapter get warm and charge the laptop ok, and how long does it take to drain :)?

@Leostat Yes, the AC Adapter does get warm while charging. If I didn't set power limit to the GPU and play some triple A game like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Death Stranding it can only last around 1 hour 'til it reach the 30% battery stage.
