acer nitro 5 hdmi dual splitter not working
I have recently bought this hdmi dual splitter for my acer nitro 5 and it does not work it only shows mirrored screens between my 2 external monitors (discluding laptop screen)
it does not work and i need help having extended screens between my 2 external monitrs (discluding laptopscreen)
Both monitors have a VGA and a hdmi ports

Thats not possible with HDMI, it has no way of splitting the source into two distinct displays the splitter just clones it im afraid.
To get a second display for your nitro , can you confirm the model number? If it supports DP over USBC you could use that, if not, you would need to pick up a display link adapter to get the second external screen ( https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/displaylink-products-list?field_displaylink_category_value=usb_adapters ) something like https://amzn.to/3GrPddn is the cheaper end

Unfortunately, HDMI splitters won’t help you extend your screen as they are only meant for screen mirroring.See this guide of how to connect two monitors to extend the screen here Good luck and hope this helps you out and get your money back on the HDMI splitter😀
