I switched from HDD to SSD How to set SSD as a boot priority
Tinkerer
Hi, I switched from HDD to SSD, but I don’t know how to set SSD as my boot priority. In boot priority order there is only windows boot manager.

I reread and it seems like that the SSD is not setup correctly as a Windows bootable device.
Maybe re-clone or https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

What PC model do you have, as it would make it easier to reference exactly. You need to take the old boot drive which I presume its a mechanical HDD and you cloned it onto an SSD? So, take that old boot drive out and only have the new SSD boot drive in the PC when you boot, if you want to use the old HDD as a slave drive, then format it after booting into the new SSD, its a simple process.

My PC model is TC-886. I took HDD out but now it wants me to select proper boot device. And I cloned it yesterday to the SSD.

Do an F12 on booting to get the changeable BOOT menu.
Your Boot Menu is enabled so try tapping F12

I pressed F12, then I entered password but this black screen showed again. I tried it many times, but it doesn’t work
