Acer Predator Helios 300 sleeps, doesn't wake, requires hard reboot...daily issue
I am on an Acer Predator Helios 300 running Windows 11 Home.
Every day, when I stop using the computer, it goes into some kind of shutdown (sleep mode, I guess?) and doesn't come out again (constant black screen, but keys light up) unless I hold the power button down and do a hard reboot.
In Power Options, I have it set to turn off the display after 25 minutes and put the computer to sleep after one hour.
I understand I could change those options, but that wouldn't be fixing the problem. I mean, shouldn't the display turn on and the PC wake up when I press a button? Why does it stay in sleep mode even when I press buttons to make the keyboard light up?
Thanks.

Search Windows start menu 'cmd'. Right click and run the administrative command prompt. Enter 'powercfg -h off' Then shut down Windows normally. Wait a minute or so. Then turn it back on again and check it again.
If it still doesn't work, go to this link. Enter your full helios 300 number. For example, PH315-551. If Win11 updates are available, then download and install the updated chipset driver.

I have the same issue. Reset Windows. Installed drivers. Ran powercfg -h off. Once I rebooted, it did the same thing.

Windows power plan app is sometimes buggy. Try changing your power plan to NEVER turn the display off. And put the computer to sleep after so many minutes. Sleep also turns the monitor off. Then once it goes to sleep, see if it comes back on OK
