Looking to upgrade my machine, currently running an i7 9700k with an RTX 2080.

Running iracing with triple 1440 and low fps. Will this thing be compatible with a 3090 (will look at upcoming boxing day deals and used cards)

Will this machine "digest" this, or amnI looking at a need to a whole new machine and I have to bite the bullet???

You'll get bottlenecked by the CPU - then there's the issue of a Power supply , minimum to run the RTX 3090 would be a 750W , 850W recommended.

Just as an addition and just to start off with, your PO3-600 mobo has the Intel B360 Chipset and all RTX 30 series GPUs need at least a 10th Gen CPU with the Intel 400 chipsets series motherboards only. 8th and 9th gen CPUs are compatible with the Intel 300 series chipsets and max 20 series RTX GPUs.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to pair an RTX-3090 with the OEM PSU "good luck" as it won't work and its very questionable that the RTXC-3090 will perform better than the RTX-2080 also that you have operating now. The RTX-2080 is way more than what this desktop was designed for, as the PO3-600 came OEM from Acer with either the GTX 1060.6GB GDDR5 or the GTX 1070.8GB GDDR5 or even the top 10 series GTX-1080ti that keeps performs better than an RTX-2060 or even keeps up with the RTX-3060sthat work best with the specs of this desktop.

So if you want a desktop that can handle and operate at its peak gaming performance, don't waste your money with just buying an RTX-3090 and install it into the PO3-600 as its best to get a newer Predator Orion 7000 Gaming Desktop | PO7-640 (i912R641TS39) with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3090, that is a much better desktop.
