I have an Acer CB-315. I use it on occasion, mostly to video chat with family. It went unused for several months, then when I plugged in the factory charger, it stated it was a low power charger and was barely charging. Then miracle of miracles, it started charging normally. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, was it a recurring issue?

Likely the battery was low enough it was just on the threshold of failing. When the lithium-ion batteries get down to a certain point, charging is disabled. They do that in order to lessen the risk of fire and explosion. If you remember when they first came out there were a lot of Apple laptops causing issues with airlines due to the issue. My guess is you were right on the verge, and so it went into a slow charge mode until it could get up to normal levels, then acted as it normally would after it was recovered to that point.
