So I've bought my acer predator helios 300 today and I've tried installing the predator sense. After the installation is complete, the startup icon doesn't show up in start bar or desktop but after trying to launch it from place where it is installed, nothing happens. I've tried running it as administrator, reinstalling, doing the task manager method, using cmd to write that command but none of it helps.

I have windows 11 pro installed and my laptop model is PH-317-55.

Anyone has any solution? I've spent 3 hours already trying everything I could find on the internet but seems like all of the solutions are repetitive at this point.

[Edited the thread to add model name to the title and issue detail]

    Try the below step

To fix this issue, close out of all predator instances in task manager:

Then open an administrator command prompt.

For 32bit windows change directories to c:\windows\system32

For 64bit windows change directories to c:\windows\SysWow64

Then run the following command to rebuild perfmon counter libraries (this will rebuild both Microsoft and 3rd party counter libraries)

    lodctr /R

Note it has to be a capital R or you will get an error.

    You should get this result:

Once that is done you should now be able to run PredatorSense.
