So my "w" key is barley functioning (i gotta hold it like 5 seconds to actually get 1 letter) and has been for awhile.

i'm a fidgeter so things have gone from bad to worse, having the key cap, whatever it is that holds the cap on, and the button under the cap now removed. what should i do? can this be fixed by now? i need to apply pressure to get it to actually work.

here's how the key looks by now, i think i messed with it for far too long

W along with ASD often fail this way for gamers. Either the keyboard alone or keyboard+palmrest assembly can be replaced. The nitro series keyboards are usually sold as assemblies for about $100usd. While the keyboard itself is only about $25usd, it usually is much harder to install trying to use the old palmrest assembly.
