Trying to reset to factory because PW (long) forgotten. Know how to get to reset options, but if I chose delete everything get 'additional free space is needed on the drive where Windows is installed. Free up some space and try again." If I chose save my files it asks for PW. Can anyone help getting past these loops?

Try to do a clean install or change the boot HDD to install either Win-10 or Win- 8.1 whichever OS that your version of the N15P2 - S1002 came with, as forgetting the PW will not get you into windows and/or give you the ability to reset it in any way and "If I chose save my files it asks for PW" and you can't get past that. Also, Acer Community forums guideline is that we can't give you any advice or guides of how to hack a PW in any way.

If you don't know anything about this laptop, then first ascertain which Acer One N15P2 - S1002 laptop model you have, as saying N15P2 means nothing as Acer released two models, there is an S1002-145A that came oem with Win-10 operating system and is listed with Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, and One Note Microsoft Office apps and the second model is the S1002-17FR Windows 8.1 and comes with a free 1-year subscription for full Office 365 Personal package.

The Acer One N15P2 - S1002 range are both a very basic 2 in 1, 10.1-inch tablet/laptop that runs on either Win-10 or Win-8.1 with an Atom Z3735F cpu (which is among the most basic CPUs you can find in PCs) and its integrated HD Graphics with 1280x800 pixels HD (entry-level sharpness) and has 2GB RAM size which is rare nowadays and makes laptops with this low capacity ram almost unusable due to its low capacity hence you are restricted to the OS that you can use, as for Win-10 the recommended size is at least 8GB, this tablet also has an internal soldered on 32GB eMMC storage. I know all this as I've got an older Pink Acer One Happy 2 that I bought for my wife and its just a paper weight these days😁 and I upgraded its ram from 1GB to 2GB and installed Win-10 and it was just unworkable especially with its screen and graphics for todays web browsing, yes this is an older laptop but you will find that whatever Acer One N15P2 - S1002 laptop you have it will be the same.
