Acer nitro 5 external monitor connected to my built in card instead of main graphic board

Hello, i was hoping i could find an answer here, i own a acer nitro 5 NHQ6ZEX00K0XXXXXand i recently bought a external monitor for gaming and when i go to my nvidia control panel or just windows display settings it shows up being connected to my built in gpu instead of my main one and i dont undertsand cause i own a diffrent model aswell, but when connecting my monitor to it, it works shows up as connected to main gpu and nvidia settings show the display, im hoping someone here can help me.

    It should automatically switch when the game or app calls for the discrete GPU. Sometimes temporarily disabling the integrated GPU in Device Manager can force the use of the nvidia chip. You can also try updating your Win10 GPU drivers at this link. Win11 updates apparently aren't available yet for your model.
