So I have a Nitro AN517-51

and there was a loud grinding noise, so I took the laptop apart and replaced the fan. Afterwards the laptop wouldn't boot up for some reason, then after a few boots it came up but said there was a problem with the 2060 video card in the device manager. I took the laptop apart again to be sure I didn't leave anything unplugged and it all looked good. So I ended up reformatting the computer and now it says that the device is working properly in the device manager, but it still won't activate when playing games, and I can't launch the Nvidia control panel for some reason no matter how many times I install it.

If you wiped the hidden Acer factory OEM reset partition and installed a generic Microsoft Windows version instead, then you'll probably have to install just about all the updated Win10 OEM drivers and apps from this link.
