i have an Acer Aspire One KAV60 netbook for which i purchased a VGA to RCA/S-video adapter so i can put a slide show of photos on the TV in my room. When hooking up the adapter to my TV, the TV did not display anything from the RCA input. I adjusted the display settings on my computer to make sure it was putting a signal through the VGA port and rechecked all connections and tried other channels. Nothing. So I sent an email to the party I bought the adapter from and noticed they had removed their listing due to a "bug" detected in this product. I asked what they planned to do, and they want me to make sure my Acer supports RCA/S-video out first before they send a replacement. does it?

The Aspire One system labeled with the model KAV60 is actually an Aspire One AOD250.

There are no RCA or S-video ports on the AOD250 series.

The system ships with a VGA port.

It may be necessary to change the resolution output in order to display with certain adapters.

Example: s-video output is generally in 480i, so would display at 640 x 480 pixels.
