I've owned an Acer Nitro 5 for 10 months now. Recently it started to occasionaly make some crackling noises when i'm using YouTube. I was afraid that it could be a hardware problem but considering it never happens when i'm using other programs with sound like games and only happens in YouTube i'm not really sure

Youtube audios vary in quality. So it's not unusual. You can sometimes reduce the distortions and crackling by opening Control Panel. Search 'sound'. Click 'change sound card settings' in left pane. Right click speaker properties. Click advanced tab. You can first try to reduce sample rate. If no difference, then disable hardware acceleration and digital signal enhancements
