Hi,

Hoping someone can help me determine the best RAM I can pick up to upgrade my Acer Aspire 5250-0691 model.

The pre-installed RAM that came with the laptop is 2x 2GB Kingston KV1RX3-HYC

2gb 1Rx8 Pc3-10600s-9-10-B10

I am looking to find a better RAM than the pre-installed one so I can upgrade to to 8gb. Any recommendation would much appreciated.

Thank you in Adv.

Your old laptop can have a total of 8GB (2x 4GB DDR3-1600 • CL=11 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 204-pin • 1.35V • 2Rx8 • PC3-12800) type ram modules, see here Aspire 5250 RAM & SSD Upgrades but for a complete upgrade and to increases this laptops performance you will also need to upgrade its 2/5” spinner HDD to a 2.5” SSD also which the best drive would be a Samsung EVO 850 6GB/s type SSD drive.
