Hi all,

I am trying to use an external momentary button to use as a power button. When I open up the case, the cables are hid behind a metal sheet. Does anyone know how to access the power buttons cables?

Do you mean the sheet metal under the port bracket? I should lift out after removing the two screws.

Is it enough if you attach the cables to the motherboard directly? There should be a of group of small cables bunched together. Two if them are for power button.

Which Predator 9000 model is it? It should be something like PO9xx-xxx-xxxx and the full model number should be on the same sticker as the serial number. The different versions have different motherboards, and though likely the pinout of that connector is the same on each it could be on a different place on the motherboard.
