My nitro AN515-43's screen started flickering and then turning black, why?

So since last Thursday, this has happened twice mind you - thursday and today, my laptops screen has started flickering while I was on a website playing a game (both times on the same website so that's kind of weird) and then turned almost black (its like a dark dark navy blue but its not the blue screen of death). I'm not sure if its an over heating thing happening or if its something with windows 11 or just something to do with the screen itself but I'm hoping someone would know what's going on before I have to go spend money to get it fixed if it has to be. I've had the laptop for about 2 / 3 years now, not sure if that's relevant but just putting that out there. I have taken good care of it but about a week prior my friend spilt tea next to the laptop, it barely got touched by the liquid (just a little on the bottom but the laptop showed no issues for over a week before the screen issue started so I don't think its water damage but thought I should also put that here as well).

If anyone knows anything, please let me know as soon as possible!

Thanks!

Does the behavior change at all if you shift the screen?

@billsey I don’t think so, when this happened both times I first did the control escape thing, which at first brought it back and then quickly went away so I just did a force shut down. If /when it happens again I’ll see what happens when I shift the screen. I would assume If shifting it does fix it then it’s a screen issue, correct?
