Do Acer Spin 5 SP513-54N supports USB C port charging?
So I recently broke the original charging port on my Spin 5 (SP513-54N) and was wondering if I could charge using a USB c instead?
Would this product work?: https://a.co/d/9bmoh3J

@Dotz12 yes, your model supports PD charger so that one will work.

I appreciate your question as well as a link to the product you wanted to use. My laptop (exact same model as yours) often has issues with the power plug in. I've tested it and verified it is within the laptop and not anything about the power cord. It is good to know I have options now. I love my laptop and was worried the day would come would it wouldn't charge anymore. Thanks!
@AnhEZ28 - Thank you for answering them! Now? I'm off to order that product they linked to. Just in case... thanks again!

I am SO SO grateful that someone here explained that I can charge my SP513 54N laptop via the Thunderbolt connection with a USB-C
cord!!!
I love my SPIN and have fought that d—m pin-type charger for nearly as long as I've owned it.
I was searching online to find out how to replace the charging receiver inside of the machine when I came across the questions
about the great option of the USB-C charging the laptop.

The SP513-54N left side USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port needs a USB-C adapter of the following specs "DC-in: requires power adapter or power source providing 65 W at 19~20 V."

The key there is the 19-20V. USB-C charging spec allows for other voltages, but this design is expecting the full 20V. 65W is only the bottom limit, you could use a 100W just as well, the laptop won't pull more current than it needs.
