Hello,

I'd like to swap my case on my Acer nitro 50-600 (for better cooling and more space), but for now, I'm not planning to upgrade the motherboard, but due to it being "special" I'm not sure what type of case should I be looking for. I found this one, but due to almost no info about this mobo online, I'm not sure if it's going to fit properly. And I am guessing I will lose the front I/O connectors, but I'm ok with that for now.

So will the case I found "work" or should I find a different one or even maybe upgrade the motherboard now?

Yes. Other users have reported the Corsair iCue 220T can work fine for this mainboard swap. A bit of tinkering but nothing complicated. Here's a link to a recent example. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/661984/can-i-switch-case-with-the-stock-acer-nitro-n50-600-motherboard/p1

Upgrading the Acer Nitro 50-600’s case can really help with airflow and give you more space for future components. Some users have successfully swapped in cases like the Corsair iCue 220T, though it may need some tweaks and could affect front I/O connectivity. PSU cable lengths are also something to watch out for. If you want, I’ve put together a simple tool to check compatibility and performance bottlenecks for your PC builds:
