Like any other usual day, I plugged in the laptop (Nitro 5 AN515-43) and started playing GTA V. I had to leave for some work so I paused the game and left the laptop as it was. After 15 mins. or so I came back and to my surprise, the laptop was dead. It was neither turning on nor it was charging. There was no LED indication. I checked the charger for any anamoly but the charger was good. I tried pressing power button to reset the battery (there is no pin hole to rest the battery) and then plugging in after some time but all in vain. Searched for answers in different forums and tried everything but nothing is working. Can anyone suggest anything. The laptop is 3 years old and I am afraid that the motherboard is cooked. Also, if possible, can anyone please suggest the cost estimates if I have to change the board?

    Hello!!

    @schahal,

    It is sad to know that your laptop is completely dead. These Nitro series laptops do not come with battery reset pin holes. These Nitro series laptops do not come with battery reset pin holes. As a work around, you can try pressing & holding the power button for 20 to 30 seconds.

    Post that plug in the charger and check what happens. Hope this helps.

    If the issue persists, you can contact Acer Technical Support in your region to get info on repair cost.
