Appreciated, thanks. I’m also looking at upgrading the ram. From what I know the motherboard only supports 1.2v ram, the current ram is 1.2v but runs at 3200mhz CL22. If I replaced with new ram at 1.2v 3200mhz CL19 would it still run at 3200? As apparently 1.2v only supports 2666mhz?

You should install RAM modules with same specs in both slots for them to function as dual channel memory, if you install RAM sticks with different timings they won't work efficiently.

- If there are multiple speed RAM sticks in the different slots, the RAM will always work at lower speed.
- Check the max speed your laptop supports; adding a RAM with higher speed than your laptop supports won't do any good; it will only at the max supported speed.
- I have a Nitro 5 - it has two M.2 slots, but one of it has SATA written on it. Now with this written on it, it allows me place only a SATA M.2. The other slot has SATA/NvME on it and I can use my NvME on it. So the slots per your laptop specification. - Your model should support NvME too.
