2019 Predator Helios 300 - Battery 96% - shuts down when unplugged - Will not turn on with battery

2019 Predator Helios 300 crazy symptoms - all at the same time:

When plugged in, battery shows charging, but stops and gets stuck @ 96%

Slightest movement of power cable connector at the port causes laptop to shut down.

Completely shuts off when unplugged

Will not turn back on, or run, with just the battery

I turned off laptop, removed back cover, unplugged the power port connector, & unplugged battery connector.

Held down the power button for 15 seconds, then plugged the battery connector and power port connectors back in.

Battery started charging, said "15 minutes till full charge".

Now shows "fully charged (100%)"

No movement of the power cable connector causes a shut off.

Computer turns on and runs with battery again.

#2 Your response is for a completely different laptop than what I posted for.

I turned off laptop, removed back cover, unplugged the power port connector, & unplugged battery connector.

This fixed my problem.

Check the actual rear of laptop DC power port, if its not damaged and its pins are fully connected to the motherboard (you need to disassemble the laptop to do this, see caption of the port below) as if that is not the cause of your problem(s), then its an internal issue with the power phase circuitries in your laptop that need diagnosing and fixing, which you need a specialist tech to do with proper tools and experienced, as its not just a reset or software thing that you can do.
