Thought I'd give W11 a crack, and installed it on my least critical PC, but PredatorSense refuses to install. Fans seem to be spinning, barely, but there doesn't appear to be a functioning fan curve without the program. Which is bad.
The installation gets stuck on "installing PredatorSense Service". If I abort, or just reboot, the files are in the folder, but none of the executables open. I never much liked the program, so I would gladly accept a substitute, as long as it works. If not, I guess I shall go back to W10 and throw the PC in the trash when they stop supporting it. These kind of problems make me very glad I mainly use desktops.
I ran the 3dMark CPU test, for giggles, and sure enough, the fan never ramped up (guessing it runs at under 1000 rpm), effectively making it useless.
