Nitro 5 battery drains incredibly fast

My battery drains from a full charge to drained in about one hour, when a week ago it would last for about three hours. The care center says the battery health is good, and the battery report says I should have around three hours of use time. This is the battery capacity, and BatteryBar says my wear is at 33%. Is this a problem I can fix or should I just get a new battery.

    Hello!!

    @cakers,

    Sad to know that laptop battery drains very quick. As Acer Care Center says Battery health is good, need not to think on replacing battery. As a work around, try Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft ACPI Battery driver. To do that, follow below steps:-

    1. Press the Windows key + R key.
    2. In the Run dialog box, type devmgmt
    3. In Device Manager, click > or + sign next to Batteries.
    4. Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and click Uninstall.
    5. Click OK to confirm uninstalling the driver.

    After uninstalling, please restart your laptop and then check battery backup. Even after this you face same issue, try calibrating the battery. Click here to get instructions on calibrating battery.

    Regards,

    @cakers Try to discharge the laptop and then fully recharge it again to calibrate the battery. If the laptop still has warranty, you can take it to the service center to see if they can replace the battery for you. Otherwise, you can get a new battery by yourself in many online stores.
