Hi All ,

I Am having Swift 5 series Laptop, Which is my 1st personal Laptop. I purchased this laptop being it as a compactable Laptop with desired specification even it is into the prime segment with a high price for me.

I purchased it on 29th Jul. of 2020 with 1 yr warranty , Which got ended in 2021. Suddenly after 1years decent use I started see bubbles on the body and the paint is getting removed. Under the Situation of CoVid i couldn't able to fix on that time . After a time I started to see that the laptop gets powered on and then screen gets switched on and even before the boot it gets turned off and then on, This loop was happening repeatedly. Now it had completely turned off , however the charging indication is appearing.

I understand the Warranty period has expired , However Since the spent cost in this was high I would like to get it fixed. can I Fix the restart loop and body issue , current situation of the body is horrible(the part which touches the surface). from the Community I heard that some others was also facing the same issue. Will it get fixed both the not working and body paint rash issue.

Can Someone help on this , What are the things I need to do fix these issues. Being it as my 1st and Costly Laptop, bit hesitated to spare it as it is.

regards

Rash is cosmetic issue only. It is separate from loop issue.

First let's try to fix loop issue. Try this procedure and post result.

    (1) Search 'cmd' in Windows start menu.

    (2) Right click command prompt near top of menu.

    (3) Click run as administrator.

    (4) Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport' at command prompt.

    (5) Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer.

    (6) Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser.

    (7) Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity.

Is the battery dead? Does the battery charge LED blink orange or steady orange or steady blue when plugged in and turned off?
