recently my predator Helios 300's fan started announcing their upcoming demise, so i am looking for a replacement. since they are in use for over 5 years (and very often at full speed) their death comes as no surprise.
which fans can be used as replacement? since im putting the comp under heavy load often, i would like strong fans.
on a related note, my gpu heats up to 90-100 degrees even at medium loads. while it does peak at 100%, most of the time the gpu average at 20-40%, and yet i get near 90C. playing FFXIV, i 'can' run the game at 90-100 fps, but i need to keep it at 30fps and even that gets me well over 80C. and that's while undervolting.
the entire casing gets suitably hot(so the thermal pasting is fine) and a lot of hot air comes out(so the fans are doing their job). any suggestions? or is it just the fate of a laptop user?(my ambient temp is pretty high. 30-40C in summer)
on an unrelated but similar note, i have lost my 'Y' key a while ago. where can i get a replacement?
on a very unrelated, for some reason the pc barely charges my Nintendo switch. the laptop charges my phone very well, but even using the same slot and same cable, the switch barely charge.(i doubt i can get an answer, but asking just in case its some weird setting.)
