Hello once again,

I am writing this post to seek someone who can properly explain me how do switch from one SSD to the other one. So basically I've purchase myself a Samsung 980 Pro PCle 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD 2T, I've installed it and Its visible on the file explorer when you look up how much space you have remaining. I've also installed a software named Samsung Magician in order to clone one SSD to another and so I did that but now the issue is, how do I swap over to use the samsung SSD has my main driver where I can operate Windows and stuff of that sort. I've been looking around the internet for help but I can't quite find anything able to sort my self out, also, for some reason i cannot update my SSD's firmware on Samsung Magician. It simply gives me an error and that's it.

To not have this happening "but now the issue is, how do I swap over to use the samsung SSD has my main driver where I can operate Windows and stuff of that sort" you need to take the old boot drive that you cloned your new m.2 2TB ssd from out, as you can have the same and old boot drive installed, as the system will always boot from the old boot drive and not from your new Samsung 980 Pro PCle 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD 2T cloned new drive.

Take the old boot drive out and boot your system only with the new m.2 drive, then you can either format the old boot drive and use it as a secondary drive or keep it as a backup but not installed into your laptop. Btw, the Samsung 980 Pro PCle 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD is only advantageous to be used if your laptop/desktop can utilize its PCIe 4 x4 read/write speeds so and if you have a PCIe 3 x4 the PCIe 4 x4 won't be utilized fully.
