The green screen problem is quite common. The good news is that it’s almost always temporary, and you can easily fix it yourself.

To fix a green screen try these steps:

You need to reset it. Unplug turn off your laptop from the and wait 60 seconds. While unplugged, press and hold the power button on the laptop for 30 seconds. After the minute is up, plug your laptop back in. The green screen should be gone! If not, then try these other steps:

    1. Check for any loose connections
    2. Make sure there aren’t any damaged wires/cables
    3. Disable HDR+ Mode
    4. Manually update your graphics to the latest software version
    5. Factory reset your device

If you’re experiencing a green screen while streaming with YouTube or Netflix, for example, you should try logging out and back into your account. You’ll also want to clear the app cache.

If none of these fix's work, you will need to change the screen and replace the monitor screen and the eDP monitor cable and plug and/or have a tech inspect your mobo for faults in regard to the screen.
