Can someone explain me how the DIMM slots table works? (desciption)

I recently bought 2x16gb of ram but I don't know on which slot I should install them. I also have 2x8gb of ram and they're reserved in DIMM slot 1 and 2.

    I found out,

    Size means the total of RAM you will have and DIMM1-4 will show which RAM disk it should be in.

    Depends on your desktop model, is it a laptop or desktop? The example below is from a Predator PO5-640 and the 1st slot that is closes/faces the cpu is DIMM 1 then 2 & 3 & 4. So in your case (as most of these modern desktops are the same) for total of 32GB at 2x 16GB ram modules (if you look at the table below) they should be placed into DIMM 1 & 2.

    I found out,

    i have 2x16 in slots one and 3 where the factory ram was then i put that in 2 and 4,...so im running 16-8-16-8 in ddr 5 works perfect giving me 48 gig
