Just in addition to the advice above with more explanation of what could be wrong. First what is the total of your ram memory with the 2x 8GB DDR4-3200MHz ram added? As and if you added 2x 8GB DDR4-3200MHz onto the Standard memory of 8GB Acer OEM and you have any lower speed ram with this higher speed ram then, that is why your speed is 2100Mhz as the ram if combined unequally will always work to the lowest memory speed MHz.

I also strongly recommend you do the "Crucial System Scanner" that they guarantee compatible upgrades for this desktop. Because and as far as Crucial is concerned, your Nitro desktop can have a max total of 128GB DDR4 ram (while Acer suggests 64GB max total) into this desktops 4x f DIMM slots and you should populate the DIMM's slots according to the table below:

As you can see, the 2x 8GB DDR4-ram sticks should populate DIMM1 and 2 ONLY and you can't have any other different ram sizes mixed into any slots. You must The Acer OEM recommended ram for the N50-610 (for their 64GB max total) are the following 4GB, 8GB and 16GB type ram types:

    1.  KINGSTON – 4GB ACR26D4U9S1KA-4
    2. KINGSTON – 8GB ACR26D4U9S8ME-8X
    3. KINGSTON – 16GB ACR26D4U9D8ME-16
    4. MICRON – 8GB M378A1K43DB2-CTD
    5. MICRON – 16GB MTA16ATF2G64AZ-2G6E1

Also, the Acer OEM recommended ram are all 8GB DDR4-2666Mhz CL19 while Crucial recommend and guaranteed 8GB DDR4=3200Mhz ram is type CAS# Latency (CL) type "CL 22" standard ram and they do also have their gaming Ballistix range that is also recommended and compatible to work. This is the Crucial recommended standard ram specs: 8GB DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600. Crucial also recommends their M.2 SSD • PCIe NVMe Gen 4 • 6600 MB/s Read, 5000 MB/s Write for this desktop also that will also increase your desktops performance. While the Acer OEM 8GB DDR4-2666Mhz are: 8GB PC4-21300 DDR4-2666MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL19 288-Pin DIMM 1.2V Dual Rank Memory. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

  • Hi,

Could you please install CPU-z, run it and post the pictures of Memory tab and SPD tab for both slots.
