My "W" Key feels really weak (Acer Nitro 5 AN15-55-562X). Help? Would a keyboard replacement do?

For gaming, I use the "W" (and some other keys but mostly the W key)... A lot which I use primarily for moving forward in games. But recently I have noticed that it has been getting really weak. It feels softer to press than usual. And when I press it the sound is really weak as compared to the other keys. I have opened it up and cleaned the full thing out so I think there may be some fault. Even took the white bits off. Either if that is some spoilage in the plastic, the clips, etc. What do I do?

Typing is becoming hard as well.

The keyboard is usually sold as a new top case assembly. Depending on the language version, costs can be over $100usd without labor. The keyboard itself is cheaper but is difficult to remove and replace in the old top case assembly.
