Same question as here: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/572019/screen-replacement-for-acer-predator-helios-300-15-6-g3-571-77qk?breakffcache=257fd

Just with a different model.

@MaClane can you share the same screenshots from the parts/service manual so I know what's compatible. Also trying to work out if its possible to upgrade the display. 🤔

Thanks a million!

This is the L:CD modules for the PH315-54, have a look here at all the screens for the PH315-54 and if its possible to upgrade the display in any way, its LS screens.

LS screens is a very concise laptop retail screen site for many laptops, and they also have upgrades information for certain laptops that can be upgraded to e.g. from a default screen to a 120Hz or a 144Hz screen and what you need to update to those screens, in your PH315-54-760S laptop the video connector is a 40pin video connector:

To find out exactly what your exact screen is, look at your OEM screen part number at the back of the screen as its on a sticker, as all laptops, it doesn't matter if they are the same models, have a different part model number screen allot of the times and the best way to find out the exact compatible screen for your laptop is to look at the part number that you have on this LS screen site. If you look at the exact part number for your laptop, they also have available an option (if available for your screen?) called "UPGRADE OPTIONS" and in your PH315-54-760S there is an option to a 120Hz maximum refresh rate screen from your OEM display (most commonly 60Hz). That is what I was refereeing to and this is what the advanced option for your laptop says:

    Upgrade Options:

+$30 Matte IPS, 1080p, Wide viewing angles and professional color range

Extended description of upgrade features (it does not mean that the upgrade(s) option(s) shown above include all of these features):

IPS (In-plane switching) - Better viewing angles because of a different way of constructing the pixels. Colors will no longer shift if you look at your display from the side or from above.

IPS Professional Color - A wider range of physical colors reproducible by the LCD. A must-have for professional photography, print and publishing, available to you at a fraction of the cost.

120Hz - A maximum refresh rate of the display (most commonly 60Hz) dictates how many pictures your display can show per second. With a 120 Hertz upgrade, your new display can deliver double the frames each second for smoother motion and a much more immersive visual experience.

120Hz IPS - All of the advantages of a 120Hertz upgrade combined with wide viewing angles and improved color range.
