Hello ,

I am looking for the way to disable the WIFI in the BIOS of a Veriton EN2580 , in the BIOS only the wired network card is visible.

Does anyone know how to access the "advanced" BIOS view?

Thank you

Adam

You can disable Wi-Fi in the Device Manager and choose "Disable This Device".

If you are using Ethernet with an active wire plugged to the RJ45 port, the Wi-Fi will relinquish itself to Ehternet and should not be bothering at all.

I don't believe you can do that in the BIOS, since the BIOS doesn't know anything about addon cards like the WLAN card. BIOSes can only know about devices directly soldered to the motherboard, such as the Ethernet chip and port.

You could always just pull the card out, that would be pretty disabled. :)
