Acer nitro 5 shows no sign of life

So When I first got the computer it had a ugly line going up the center of the screen where half the screen was darker than the other half and after reading on the subject it said that I just needed to try and unplug the screen and check the connection well whilst I was doing so I forgot to turn off the screen and I unplugged it now the computers charging light doesn’t even work I’ve tried jus letting it sit I’ve tried holding in the button I also tried multiple outlets

First, I don't know which new Nitro 5 laptop you have, as it would help if you told us the exact model number? But with any new laptops and if they have any faults you don't open them or try to fix them, you always send them to Acer to rectify these problems. With laptop screens, the must do before you unplug the screens plug is to disconnect the battery, you don't disconnect or connect a screen if the main battery is connected because, it will damage your screen and laptop and that is why "I forgot to turn off the screen and I unplugged it now the computers charging light doesn’t even work" as you have done major damage. I don't know if this laptop is under warranty, if it is, then your warranty is probably voided, so you need to contact Acer and see what they can do for you, as there is no magic pill of user switch that you can turn on to fix this laptop.
