I was about to edit my school project and when i turn on, it just works perfectly fine until minutes later, it just did a black screen. I restart a laptop by long pressing the power button and when i turn on again, it was not working properly and the display is not turning on but the indicator light and keyboard backlit is on and work perfectly fine. I try turning it off and turning on again, It turned on and off automatically. I tried again in 15 minutes hoping it will turn on but until now, it doesn't turned on.

    1. Unplug charger.
    2. Press and hold power button for 15 seconds. No power or battery charge LEDs should be lit.
    3. Plug charger back in. Only battery charge LED should be lit orange or blue.
    4. Only after battery charge LED lights steady blue, then try to turn laptop on again.

  • Also, and if the usual battery reset doesn't work, like you tried it. Take the back cover off and disconnect the main battery and the BIOS battery at their plugs, as you don't have to take these batteries out, leave them disconnected for 5 min and then reconnect them both. As disconnecting these batterie should unfreeze the super IO and BIOS chip to reset your laptop, if not then there are other issues which you should consult Acer support about.
