Hello, I am at a loss here and I need some guidance. I have an Acer V Nitro Black edition, model VN7-592G. One day the laptop just shut off even though the battery was around 90% and I couldn't power it back on. Basically:
- once I plugged the charger in, the laptop turns on
- I noticed the battery percentage was 94% and would not go any higher despite leaving it charged for a while. So I took the charger off, and the device shut off again
- I bought an OEM battery, and can confirm it is identical to the original
- I replaced it, saw that the percentage was 75% (which is normal for new batteries)....again it does not seem to be charging and is stuck at 75% ...obviously this is a bad sign
- Took off the charger, laptop shuts off
Back at square one. Doesn't matter which outlet I use. Issue persists. The orange battery light is on when I plug on the charger, but basically, my laptop cannot live without its charger right now :( Please help
