    Hello!!

    @Rakesh7842,

    Sad to know that your laptop stopped powering on & charging. In order to help you, I would like to know the exact model of your laptop. Along with that, few more information.

    1. Is there any light indication on side of laptop, when charger is plugged in? If so, what is the color and how is it, solid or flashing?
    2. What happens when you press Power button in the laptop, when having it connected with adapter?
    3. Did you try any troubleshooting to resolve this issue? If so, please let me know what you tried.
    4. Was there any hardware or software changes made in the laptop before this issue?

    Awaiting for your response.

    Regards,

    Balatekie

    Hi @Rakesh7842

    You can try power drain. Just disconnect the laptop from the charger flip it upside down. At the back side of the laptop there will be a tiny hole that has a battery symbol near. Just press and hold it down for 30 secs. After that yo can connect it back to the charger and try to turn it on.

    Hope it will help you in some way.

  • It's a bit hard to advise you on the power off/on issues if you don't state what your laptops model number is, as there are different issues like you have with different laptops. A simple and a solution that will not void your warranty is to disconnect the main battery and bios battery and leave them unplugged for 5 min and then reconnect as that should power your laptop back again. otherwise, don't do anything else and send it to Acer so that they can analyze and fix your laptop as a power on/off issues are many and a user like you can't fix these problems yourself!
