Aspire XC-603G Bios Rev. P11-B2 does not detect certain flash drives

When trying to boot n OS using a Curzer Glide[tm] 8GB flash-drive, the system returned "no bootable media detected", upon reviewing boot options in the BIOS, the flash-drive was not detected, however the other smaller 2GB generic flash drive inserted into the system was detected.

does anyone else have this same issue, how did you resolve it, if you did?

A solution for that “Aspire XC-603G Bios Rev. P11-B2 does not detect certain flash drives” is to update the BIOS to the last XC-603 bios version #: P11-B0 and follow the exact Acer PDF guide for your Aspire XC-603 exact bios update procedures that Acer suggest and warns all users that "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution" also that your HDD OEM 3.5" drives that are fitted to your desktop by Acer could be faulty also, the list is like below:

As these drives should work 100% as a boot drive, if not then replace the HDD with a new one as that is why you are getting the "no bootable media detected" or see this very useful solutions at "No Bootable Device Found in Windows 10 - Solved Now!" that will solve your problems.

There is no internal Drive, that was removed. bios revision P11-B0 is older then the currently installed P11-B2. the OS is linux, installed into the flash drive, as linix can see it, but the bios can not.

What is on the flash drive? It needs to be an UEFI image for it to show up in the boot menu.
