Aspire 5- A515-56 complaint warranty claim.

I bought an Acer aspire 5 A515-56 model from amazon India in October 2021.The model was 1 TB hdd and 8 Gb ram version.The product I initially got was damaged and I got it replaced.

When I updated it to windows 11 it became very laggy .So I updated the ram to 20 gb and added a 250 gb ssd.

Even after updation I was not getting the expected performance and later it started showing too many issues like black screen automatic restart application crashing etc.

I moved to Germany for higher studies this march and in july the laptop suddenly stopped recongnising bootable device and went into automatic repair loo.I tried reinstalling windows but nothing was working.

Since the product was under international warrenty I contacted acer germany servce center and they asked me to send them the laptop with warrenty documents.

But after checking they rpled me like the ssd not from acer caused the problem and asked me to pay for an ssd change as well as their service charge.89 euro for ssd +33 for service +19% tax=150 euros.

I don't think the ssd caused the issue and I am not at all satisfied with their service.

Any body have any opnion that would help me.

    Sorry, you have posted to an Acer users forum. We are not Acer employees or customer service representatives. Typically you must arrange warranty repair service in the country or region where the laptop was purchased. AFAIK, the international warranty only applies to travellers, not applicable moves or relocations from one country to another.
