I was playing on it and it was perfectly fine until the next day. It just won’t turn on but it can still charge. I left the laptop sat there for 2 days without charging it and I plug it back in again and it finally turn on but after a day passed it just stop turning on again.

Unscrew the 12 back cover screws and pry open the back cover, disconnect the main battery (you don't need to take the main battery out) and then dissconect the bios battery, also (see caption below, bios battery is the small round black battery) leave them unplugged for 5 min then reconnect both batteries and turn your laptop on, this will reset the bios and super io chip, wait until the laptop reboots, it can take over a minute as all super io chip settings and bios settings need to reset themselves. Test your laptop again the same way as you did. If all that doesn't fix your turn off problems, then it could be the battery, charger, side DC port or at worst internal power circuitries components that need diagnosing and/or changing by an experienced tech.

The OEM Battery is a SIMPLO AP18E Polymer 4S1P Coslight 4 cell 3720mAh Main COMMON - Acer part# KT.00407.007. Also check the charger if its outputting the correct current, there are two different chargers for this laptop and their Output Voltage is either 135W: 19V or 180W: 19.5V, so check if the charger is up to specs. Also, and if you have never updated the bios update the AN517-51 bios to the last version 1.33 as that allot of fixes that could have a bearing on your laptops functioning properly but, make sure that you follow all the bios flash safety procedures for the Insyde .exe type bios flash as if you don't Acer warns all users "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution" so be careful.

    Hi @MrChrisTheGoat

You can try to reinstall the battery drivers to check if that makes any difference.

NOTE: Make sure to reboot the laptop after uninstalling the driver to reinstall it back to the laptop.

If that doesn't work then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.
