Hi,

My charging port is also not functioning well since I have to keep it in a specific position for it to charge my laptop. Furthermore, my battery was getting depleted quickly so I had it changed but the new one did not do much since it is giving the same battery time.

The charging orange light keeps blinking on my laptop. I am attaching the battery report of the new one I bought. Let me know any resolution to this.

Sorry, the battery you tested in the battery report has lost more than 95% of its original design capacity. It can no longer hold a charge and the reason for the blinking orange charge light. So it seems like you have two bad batteries. You need to buy a new fresh replacement battery. Google search the keywords E5-575G & battery for vendors who ship new batteries to your location. Should cost about $30usd.

@JackE Thanks. But why is the charging port also malfunctioning? As in I have to keep the charger in a specific spot for it to charge, same with a new charger as well. Is the port busted that I need to get repaired?

Peer inside the charger port to make sure the center post contact is centered & straight. Also make sure the barrel slider contacts are visible. Sometimes it helps to use a toothpick or suitable non-metallic probe to try to bend the sliders toward the center post so they push harder against the barrel of the charger plug.
