Plug in the charger. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds or until only the battery charge LED is on. If battery LED is blinking or steady orange, don't try to turn it on. Wait for LED to turn steady blue blue before trying to turn machine on.

Does the battery LED shown below ever turn steady blue with laptop turned OFF?

When lap top turns off by self, afther that yes orange light stay activ 1or 2 minute, and than turn off the light. So when i pres some buttons on keyboard or plug the charger booth light is on, than the keyboard light turns off with screen and than just orange light is on 1-2 min.

So does this mean the battery LED never turns orange to blue? It just goes from orange to being unlit?

The blue light from left is just power light

The battery likely has a shorted cell inside and poses a hazard. If this is the original battery, it is probably at least a year older than the laptop's manufacturing date. So over 5 years old. Google search keywords F5-771G & battery for vendors who ship new replacement batteries to your location. Should cost about $40usd.

I measured the battery voltage with Multimeter its 0 v.

I have another question, the original battery is AS16A8K, I found a AS16A5K battery, is this battery compatible with my laptop.

I tried to remove the battery and turn on the laptop, everything happens the same as when the battery is connected, only then the orange light does not light up. I measured the input of the battery connector on the motherboard. I have 12v on the red one, and some on the others. You are right that the battery is the problem. But I'm still suspicious that this is exactly the problem. Does Acer put some kind of protection so that if the battery is bad, the laptop cannot be used? It's not logical to me, but maybe it is.

Yes, to help avoid a battery fire or explosion. Also, many laptop mainboards won't power on without a functional battery. And yes, the AS16A8K. AS16A5K & AS16A7K batteries should all be compatible.

Thank you very much for your help so far.

    I have one more question?

I plugged the charger into the laptop while it was closed, I inserted the hdmi cable and connected it to the monitor, I slowly started to open it, when the keyboard lit up I quickly closed the laptop, and then the image was transferred to the monitor and windows 10 started. The laptop works while closed when I open it the image switches to the laptop for a few seconds and the laptop shuts down. Now this confused me even more. Is it possible that the problem is in the keyboard or in the battery?

Sure, it's possible. But the battery problem is much more likely.

But sorry, I cannot guarantee 100% that replacing the battery will fix the problem. I think it will. But nothing is 100% guaranteed. So I can't guarantee 100% that it will. If it was my laptop, I would spend $40 on a new battery and see if it fixes the problem. It is the probably the simplest, easiest and cheapest option to try from all the evidence you have presented here.

    greetings, my battery arrived today.

The problem was definitely in the battery, now it is charging the battery without interruption and when it is full, the blue light is on.

However, the same thing happens, as soon as I open the laptop it turns on and when it reaches the Acer logo it turns off. I tried to press the power button, which is located on the keyboard, nothing reacts, but when I press any other button, the laptop turns on for a moment and turns off again. What would you recommend me to check next?.

Even when I connect the HDMI cable to the monitor, it works, that is. when I start to open the laptop, when the keyboard turns on, I quickly close it and the laptop then transfers the image to the monitor and everything works perfectly. As soon as I open the laptop, the image switches from the monitor to the laptop screen and turns off.

Do you know if the laptop or its lid screen might have been dropped or hit?

As far as I remember it was not dropped and there are no visible marks on the laptop such as physical damage

What is it that triggers the laptop to turn on when I open it. I don't see any cables other than the screen cable and one wifi cable going to the part towards the screen.

Is it possible that there is a sensor on the keyboard, I really don't know what to look for.

It's called a Hall magnetic lid position sensor that's soldered to the mainboard. Behind the screen bezel is a magnet. When the lid is closed, the magnet trips the Hall sensor on the mainboard and turns the lid screen off. The Hall sensor can be located by hovering a shower liner magnet over the keyboard areas where the top and bottom edges of the screen bezel touch. When the lid screen shuts off, the Hall sensor is directly under the magnet.

Yes it is lid senzor, when i remove the magnet than i have the picture for 1-2 sekund and lap top turns off.

Anyone nows how to fix this.

Its shame for this lap top to sell in parts. And shame for Acer for bad engineering.
