How can I contact an actual ACER manager to report a complaint for poor customer service?

Hi all,

I bought my wife an ACER Aspire laptop for Christmas and choose ACER as I thought it was a decent brand. We have engaged with their so called "support" personnel and now realize it seems setup to frustrate customers so they just give up.

  1. The laptop started overheating within a month. We called ACER support and the 1st representative contacted said they would have a supervisor call us back the next day and have us send them our laptop to them to be replaced with another one. Turns out their representative scammed us and didn't register the call which we clued into after a week or so of no one calling us back.
  2. The next call their "support person" said they never replace products and would only repair the laptop if we sent it back. They also said there was no record of the original call. However, they actually registered this call in their system. They then said they would send a shipping label for Federal Express to put on the laptop box to have it returned.
  3. My wife just took the package to Federal Express and they said the shipping label ACER sends isn't valid and that it is a common practice for ACER to tell customers to print off fake shipping labels.
  4. My wife called the "not support person" asking for a correct label to be sent which they said they would do so we could print it off. She asked the "support" person for a manager's contact information and was refused three times so I'm on this form and soon every social media site I have access to to present this apathetic customer service.

Did anyone actually get a phone, email or physical address that complaints could be sent to? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Might help to know which country or region Acer support you were dealing with. US? Canada? UK? India?

    Hello mcnamara,

We apologize for that experience. It isn't an Acer practice. Would you please send me a private message with your Serial number, contact information , the phone number and names you've contacted?

    Kind Regards,
