Can someone help me indentify what is burnt on ph517-51?

in Predator Laptops

Hi!! Recently I had battery issue with my laptop because it's quite old. So I took it to a repair shop to change to a new battery but they found another problem. There was a small burnt part on the mainboard. Can someone help me indentify what this is? And if it's any significance to get a new laptop?

My model is Predator ph517-51

    That section is part of the embedded controller circuitry that can affect many low level basic input-output hardware and function like keyboard, battery charging, etc. So yeah, it's of significance especially since the battery can catch fire if not properly controlled. That section is always live until the battery is disconnected. I'd be surprised if the system will turn on anymore.
