How Do I change ram speed in acer aspire e1-570g after ram upgrade?

My laptop had 4 GB ddr3 800mhz ram so I decided to upgrade it, i bought 2x4GB ddr3 1600 MHz ram, I removed previous one and installed the new ones but the problem is that the new ram (2 4gb sticks) is also running at 800mhz instead of their original 1600mhz but I had researched that my laptop supports upto 1600mhz so as usual I went to bios settings but there was no advanced option to change ram speed also my bios is up to date. Any one knows what might the problem be?

Your laptop came either with DDR3-1333/1600MHz ram OEM from Acer, are you sure that its a DDR3-800Mhz, as that is very strange and a low spec ram? Also your upgraded ram has to be of a particular and exact specs of your E1-570G compatible ram like its Timing Table and CL, this is the spec type ram that works with your laptop and you should use: DDR3-1600 • CL=11 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 204-pin • 1.35V • 2Rx8 • PC3-12800 that Crucial suggests, so install CPUz and have a look at the Memory section at the CAS# Latency (CL) and SDP timing Table specs of your new ram and see? As that is what your laptop is designed for and to utilise as its top spec ram that should be at DDR3-1600MHz, see below the official Acer SG spec for the compatible ram for all the Aspire E1-570 / E1-570G / E1-530 / E1-530G that works 100% with these laptops, as there must be something either wrong with your laptops ram voltage circuitries (that need checking and repairing?) or you have bought the wrong spec ram of a different CL value timings.

Btw this laptop can take a total of 16GB (2x 8GB DDR3-1600MHz CL 11 type ram) see Crucial scan for your Aspire E1570 as its the same as the E1-570G,
