Its a bit strange that you have pressed the power button for 5 seconds, as that is a very long time to have your finger on a power button accidentally? Anyway, be aware that especially in Win-7 not Win-8, 10 or 11 as these OS’s are more flexible to recovery solutions) as they will resume most of the time from an interrupted Windows Update. Your OS is probably stuck or corrupted and its boot files need restoring and could be the problem of the OS? Try to repair the OS first with the steps below, If all the below steps don't work then you have lost the ability to boot this OS, if you have valuable data then you will need to take this pc to an experienced recovery technetium to recover your HDD data,

Otherwise do a clean install of Win-7 but I would suggest that you upgrade (as its free) to Win-10 OS as its 100% better OS and will work with your Aspire ES1-512 specs if your Aspire ES1-512 has the tops specs or you can upgrade the cpu to the top spec Intel Mobile Pentium N3540 with max 8GB (2x 4GB DDR3L-1333 MHz) /1.5V / 204-pin SO-DIMM and a SATA 3-6GB/s 2.5" SSD drive and the last bios "1.Improve System Performance" version 1.15" installed.

Also and in future always remember to backup your data and OS as there are many great backup software’s like Macrium Reflect, EASEUS etc etc that have provisions for a boot recovery and restore of all your files with either an embedded boot recovery pre boot like Macrium Reflect or by means of a USB that can restore all your files and folders in emergency situation like you are in.

Use the Win-7 installation DVD or USB then boot into the DVD or USB and then do the following:

    1. Click Repair your computer. The recovery tool will attempt to find Windows 7 on your computer.
    2. Select your Windows 7 installation and click Next
    3. Click Startup Repair. The Startup Repair tool will scan Windows for errors and try to fix them automatically.
    4. Click Finish to repair and restart your PC. If Startup Repair fixed your issues, your PC should now boot into Windows 7.
    5. Perform a system restore if you are still unable to boot into Windows. If you see an error that says the system cannot be repaired, follow these steps to perform a system restore:
    • Reboot the PC from the DVD as you did a moment ago.
    • Select your language and click Repair your computer.
    • Select your installation and click Next.
    • Click System Restore.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to select a restore point from when the computer was last functioning properly.
    • 6. Perform a system recovery if you are unable to recover Windows 7. If you are not able to fix your computer using these tools, you'll typically have to perform a system recovery. This will wipe your hard drive clean and reinstall Windows 7. To perform a recovery:
    • Reboot from the DVD again and select your operating system.
    • Click System Image Recovery on the "System Recovery Options" screen.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the operating system.

Run bootrec to fix damaged or corrupted BCD settings

If the bootloader installation or configuration comes with some errors, the Startup Repair loop could happen as well. But you can manually attempt to rebuild the BCD (boot figuration data), partition boot sectors, and master boot record by running bootrec. Open a Command Prompt window, input the following commands, and press Enter after each.

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

After this, your Windows 7 should not go into the Startup Repair loop.

Good luck and hope this helps you out
